Dream Seats for a Basketball Fan

I really appreciate that you keep coming back to my site. It's loyal people like you that make what I do worth it. If you have any questions feel free to email me. Oh and since you obviously like my site it'd be great if you could share it with a friend. They'll love you for it!

I went to the Palace of Auburn Hills expecting to see a great NBA game.  Instead I watched a 30 blow out win by the Raptors from GREAT SEATS!  First row at half court, right next to the TV announcers.  I sat where the “stars” sit at the Lakers games.  With my feet I the court right where Piston’s great Dave Bing’s #21 is retired, I witnessed a great display of basketball…by one team.  Toronto really impressed me.  They have a lot of young talent that seems mix well.  Detroit on the other hand was without Rip, Ben Gordon and Tayshaun Prince.  Take any NBA team’s 3 leading scorers and they will struggle.  I’m not saying that they should have lost by 30 (which they did) but I didn’t expect them to win the game being short-handed like that.

The scouting in the NBA is absolutely ridiculous!  Since I was basically on the court I could hear all the players talk as they were playing.  Detroit would yell out what play they wanted to run…then Toronto’s Jarrett Jack would shout the same words back to the Raptors bench and instantly one of the assistant coaches for Toronto would yell out exactly what Detroit was trying to do with that particular play.  It was truly unbelievable to hear and watch.  I will remember watching this game for a long long time.

I’ll be back in next post with some more NCAA basketball for you…hopefully I’ll start to chip away at the 72 teams I have yet to watch/blog about.

72 teams left….82 days til Selection Sunday.
